Исследуется воздействие дополнительных высших дисперсионных и нелинейных членов в модельном уравнении на свойства коротких импульсов. Для анализа использованы два взаимно дополняющих асимптотических подхода. Найдены явные формулы, описывающие искажения амплитуды и фазы огибающей сигнала. Исследованы условия, при которых дополнительные члены компенсируют друг друга.

The impact of additional higher dispersion and nonlinear terms in the model equation on properties of the short pulses has been investigated. The analysis is based on two mutually complementary asymptotic approaches. We found explicit formulae describing distortions of the amplitude and phase of the signal envelope. The conditions under which the additional terms compensate each other have been studied.
